Power Ball 2014

Last night I did my best to channel bad gal RiRi at this year’s Power Ball, dubbed by many as Toronto’s party of the year. Hosted annually by The Power Plant gallery with proceeds from ticket sales going to gallery programming, the Power Ball is the only event that I can think of where guests can enjoy art installations and thumping house music while enjoying delicious cocktails and fancy franks. This year’s theme was Old World/New World, and I jumped at the opportunity to don the most perfect sheer vintage qipao-inspired dress, paired with my vaguely-futuristic see-through clutch and white flatform sandals. Thank you to the Power Plant for throwing one of the coolest events I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending, and thank you Stefania Yarhi of Fashion magazine for snapping this great pic. My dress now has a huge rip on the side, so you know the night was a success.
